The protective effect of nicorandil on cardiomyocyte apoptosis after coronary microembolization by activating Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway in rats

NIC pretreatment effectively inhibit CME-induced myocardial apoptosis and improve cardiac function. The protective effects are mediated through the activation of the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling in cardiomyocytes.
