Nuclear lipid droplets: A novel nuclear domain

► Nuclear neutral lipids are organized in nLD within the nucleus in the nuclear matix. ► nLD is a nuclear domain present under normal growth conditions. ► nLD are randomly distributed within the nucleus. ► nLD have a lipid composition different than that of cLD. ► nLD TAG and CE are a small pool whereas the main cellular pool of these lipids is in cLD.
