Diagnostic values of urine CYFRA21-1, NMP22, UBC, and FDP for the detection of bladder cancer

► We compared the usefulness of CYFRA 21‐1, NMP22, UBC, and FDP for bladder cancer. ► All the four biomarkers exhibited diagnostic utility for predicting bladder cancer. ► The markers corrected by urine creatinine levels were more useful in the diagnosis. ► Combinations of two or more tumor markers did not improve diagnostic performance. ► CYFRA 21‐1 or NMP22 alone was the most efficient in predicting bladder cancer.
