Cloning, purification and characterization of a 90Â kDa heat shock protein from Citrus sinensis (sweet orange)

► An Hsp90 from Citrus sinensis (CsHsp90) was cloned and purified. ► CsHsp90 adopts a conformation similar to other Hsp90s. ► CsHsp90 showed chaperone activity and was expressed in Citrus sinensis tissues.
