Isolation, folding and structural investigations of the amino acid transporter OEP16

► OEP16 has been purified and refolded in quantities for structure determination. ► Microdialysis provides a technique to screen conditions for proper folding of OEP16. ► CD, HPLC, and Trp fluorescence provide low-resolution insight into the fold of OEP16. ► NMR spectra of OEP16 suggest that a structure may be possible through NMR.
