Effect of two injections of non-adjuvanted influenza A H1N1pdm2009 vaccine in renal transplant recipients: INSERM C09-32 TRANSFLUVAC trial

► We tested 2 doses of non-adjuvanted H1N1pdm2009 vaccine in kidney transplant recipients. ► Antibody titers and seroprotection increased significantly at D42 and 6 months. ► Specific regulatory requirements should be developed for transplant recipients. ► A weak HA-specific T cell response was detected in kidney transplant recipients. ► Vaccination was safe with stable DSA and creatinine clearance throughout the study.
