Is there an added role for diffusion weighted imaging in the staging of cervical carcinoma?

DWI is helpful in discriminating local from locally advanced cervical carcinomas. DCE-MR can delineate cervical carcinomas confined to the uterus and exclude bladder/rectal invasion.
