Détection scintigraphique préopératoire d'adénopathies cervicales métastatiques d'un cancer papillaire de la thyroïde dans sa variante vésiculaire

Preoperative scintigraphic detection of metastatic cervical nodes of thyroid carcinoma is exceptional. We report herein a case of a 45-year-old man, whose thyroid scintigraphy revealed cervical nodes accumulation of Tc-99m pertechnetate. Histological examination was consistent with lymph nodes metastases of papillary thyroid carcinoma. Postoperatively, the patient received 3,7 GBq of 131 iodine with good control of his disease.
