La aplicación a la práctica clÃnica española de las principales estrategias de optimización recomendadas en el documento GeSIDA/PNS (2015) generarÃa ahorros sustanciales, especialmente aquellas basadas en biterapia con ATV + 3TC, contribuyendo asà al control del gasto farmacéutico y a la sostenibilidad del SNS.
