Remedor Biomed has recently initiated the first RemedOr study, a prospective, multicenter, single-blind study on the safety and efficacy of topical RMD-G1, a patented technology consisting of erythropoietin reformulated in a fibronectin-matrix hydrogel for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. The scientific rational of topical RMD-G1 treatment, the patient population enrolled into the study, the daily treatment regimen, the study sites involved, the duration of treatment period and follow-up, are the basis for making this randomised, controlled trial objectives very ambitious.
