Jumeaux conjoints thoracopages : aspects tomodensitométriques et problématique de la prise en charge

We report the case of “twin thoracopages spouses” of three days born at term by track low, of parents not consanguineous and without pathological history notable. The mother alleged a regular follow-up during the course of the pregnancy with three prenatal consultations but would not have benefited from an obstetric ultrasound. The diagnosis of twins spouses asymmetric thoracopages has been referred to the clinical examination and the Lesion balance sheet prepared at the Computerized Tomography (CT). This examination has allowed to observe renal abnormalities, cardiovascular disease and bone at the level of the rudimentary twin united to the host sister at the level of its sternal region. Thanks to reconstructions Multi Planar, the TDM has allowed to label as well the type of malformation and ask the indication of operation. However, the host sister died on the eve of the intervention, the victim of infanticide, without the knowledge of the care personnel.
