Translucencia nucal

Fetuses with increased nuchal translucency (NT) have an increased risk of fetal trisomy, including Down's Syndrome, cardiac defects, severe twin to twin transfusion syndrome and other defects and syndromes. The aim of this study was to review the literature available on the use of NT measurements in routine clinical practice, and the strict need for quality control is emphasized.
