In early stages, cancer surgery is recommended as the primary treatment; radiotherapy is contraindicated throughout pregnancy; and chemotherapy, if considered necessary, may be given after the first trimester. This article reviews the literature of breast cancer based on a clinical case, its diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
