Indole alkaloids from the leaves of Philippine Alstonia scholaris

Manilamine, a seco-uleine alkaloid identified for the first time from the genus Alstonia, and N4-methyl angustilobine B were isolated from the leaves of the Philippine medicinal plant, Alstonia scholaris.
