Dynamic of solitary water in hydrophobic solvents
چکیده انگلیسی
Comparison with another existing model reveals that EDA interactions have to be taken into account to reproduce MIR and FIR measurements. We argue that vibrational relaxation plays an increasing role in the genesis of the MIR profiles as the hydrophilic character of the solvent increases. From this point of view, CO2 can be classified as an intermediate solvent between xenon and carbon tetrachloride on a hydrophilic solvent scale based upon the solubility criterion.
