Peculiar Aspects of Cardiogenic Embolism in Patients with Chagas' Cardiomyopathy: A Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiographic Study

Stroke was frequent in Chagas' cardiomyopathy and associated with mild systolic dysfunction and with intracardiac thrombi. These occurred mainly in the typical apical aneurysm of Chagas' disease.
