Les différents courants de psychothérapies, leurs champs et leurs délimitations

The author defines three trends of psychotherapy: behaviorist, humanistic, and analytical. For each, she looks at the idea it has of what need to be “cured”, and the methods used in this purpose. The humanistic trend is looked at with more details, since it is not well known in France and it is more difficult to outline its field. The author defines quikly each trend, and states that each of them finds its strength by accepting its limits and respecting the threshold of its field.
