Aspects infirmiers du travail d'Équipe Mobile de Soins Palliatifs

Mobile palliative care teams have been developed in France for both hospital and home care. Nurses play an important role in these teams, but in order to cope with this specific situation a new approach to nursing care had to be developed. For a nurse, what is the signification of participating in an indirect care system? When working in a team setting, what is the meaning of supportive care for a nurse? Based on our experience, we attempt to provide practical answers to these questions and present a common basis for nurses working in mobile palliative care teams. This model is not unique and must be adapted to each specific situation and healthcare context.
