چکیده انگلیسی
Concerning accompanying practices, it appeared important to improve information (6%) and support (73%) for families. The survey of health care personnel demonstrated that they expected to perform accompanying practices for the patient (83%) and the family (79%). The personnel wanted team support (60%). Only 53% requested a dedicated space for talking. Nurses and assistants desired advice concerning clinical and therapeutic practices (70%) more than physicians and head nurses. The need for training in palliative care was significant (84%). The main themes put forward were: “relationship with patients” and “pain management”.This study revealed certain difficulties which occur in the hospital setting and enabled an identification of the expectation of hospital personnel concerning the intervention of the palliative care team.
