Starting from the widespread admission that the professional and personal characteristics of the therapist affect the therapeutic process, the authors discuss therapists representations of the "ideal patient" in child psychiatry. The results of the study show the importance of therapist satisfaction and the existence of burn-outs in this category of the population.
