Élaboration des problématiques narcissiques par le psychodrame individuel en groupe d'adolescents

The authors depict the functioning of a psychoanalytic psychodrama regrouping young adolescents with narcissistic vulnerabilities. Sessions show a strong appeal to primitive fantasies embodied in totemic characters and an universal heritage background. This rich figuration of anxious affects leads to the building up of a mythic theory of origins, which encompasses the history of the group and the participants' roots. As a protective shield for the group, the leader secures the session progression and the therapeutic frame. Such psychodrama techniques allow for the working through of narcissistic issues while avoiding direct confrontation to the youths' narcissistic injuries.
