Inhibitory effect of PVDF tubes on biofilm formation in dental unit waterlines

The present results indicate that PVDF tubes, which have lower surface free energy than the conventional tubes, were effective in inhibiting biofilm formation and reducing bacterial outflow from DUWLs.
