Study of dispersive Alfven wave in auroral acceleration region in an inhomogeneous plasma

► In the present model the inertial limit of IKAW has been adopted. ► Density and temperature gradients contribute to excite the IKAW in acceleration region. ► Laboratory as well as space plasma often contain strong gradients.
