Morphological analysis of the tail structures of comet P/Halley 1910 II

► The 886 selected images showed that DEs and Swan-Tails occur in association with knots. ► In the 886 analysed images, 26 displayed DEs. ► The 26 observed DEs were related to two onsets of DEs. ► Amplitude of the wavy structures increases as the cometocentric distance increases. ► Wavelength of the wavy structures shows the same comportment.
