⺠ATF3 decreases PDX-1 expression in pancreatic β cells. ⺠ATF3 represses promoter activity of mouse PDX-1. ⺠ATF3 binds to PDX-1 promoter spanning from â759 to â738. ⺠ATF3 contributes to downregulation of PDX-1 by hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia.
