Heparanase DNA vaccine delivered by electroporation induces humoral immunity and cytoimmunity in animal models

► Electroporation-assisted DNA vaccination targeting HPA proved to be effect therapeutic method. ► Humoral immunity and cytoimmunity were elicited in vivo. ► Immunized serum showed neutralized HPA activity and attenuated the invasion. ► Significant tumor growth inhibition and anti-angiogenesis in vivo were detected.
