Safety and immunogenicity of a freeze-dried, cell culture-derived Japanese encephalitis vaccine (Inactivated) (JEBIK®V) in children

► Safety and immunogenicity of Vero cell-derived inactivated JE vaccine was examined. ► Virus protein was given in two doses followed by a booster dose after 6-12 months. ► The three-dose regimen showed a good safety and immunogenicity profile. ► Seroconversion rates at a dose of 1.25 μg, 2.5 μg and 5 μg were 100.0% after three doses. ► Geometric mean titers were high and showed a very clear dose-response relationship.
