Serological methods used for rabies post vaccination surveys: An analysis

► ELISA kits have been considered for serology as an alternative to neutralizing tests. ► We have tested two ELISAs and a neutralizing test using over 700 fox samples. ► We found poor performances of two ELISAs tested in comparison to neutralizing tests. ► Results highlight the need for improvement of tests used for rabies serology in foxes.
