Immunogenicity of hepatitis B vaccine among hemodialysis patients: Effect of revaccination of non-responders and duration of protection

► A cohort of patients on hemodialysis was vaccinated against hepatitis B. ► Fully revaccination of primary non-responders increased pool of protected patients. ► Lasting vaccine-protection correlates with anti-HBs ≥100 mIU/mL after primary series. ► New threshold for immune response in those patients can maximize duration of protection.
