Vaccination of bovines against Echinococcus granulosus (cystic echinococcosis)

► Cattle can be successfully protected against hydatid disease using the EG95 vaccine. ► Best results were achieved with 250 μg of EG95 and 5 mg QuilA adjuvant. ► Two vaccinations resulted in 90% protection; three gave 99%.
