Stage de citoyenneté comme condamnation pénale : expérience amiénoise

The training period is a criminal condemnation which can be applied to the offences since 2004. This training period is aimed at reminding the convicted prisoner “the republican values of tolerance and of respect for the human dignity on which is based the society”. This training is set up in Amiens since 2007, with the cooperation of diverse speakers, including some doctors of the forensic and social service of the university hospital. The doctors intervene particularly on the medical consequences concerning the victims of an offence, but also on the influence of alcohol or drugs consumption on the behavior.
