Uptake of potential anti-diabetic VIVO compounds of picolinate ligands by red blood cells

The uptake by red blood cells of three potential anti-diabetic VIVO compounds formed by picolinates results in the formation of binary and ternary species with Hb, membrane proteins and low molecular mass bioligands, depending on the strength of picolinate derivative.
