Synthesis, characterization and cytotoxicity of novel Pt(II) κ2O,O′-acetylacetonate complexes with nitrogen ligands

Substitution of DMS with the much more inert NH3 gave for 1 the same in vitro cytotoxicity observed for the high active and selective (tumor over normal breast cancer cells) [Pt(acac-κ2O,O′)(acac-k-C3)(DMS)].
