Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes of cyclic bidentate (S)PNP(S) ligands: Synthesis, structure and catalytic activity in the Suzuki reaction

► Approach to novel cyclic (S)PNP(S) ligands has been developed. ► The ligands with two asymmetric phosphorus atoms were obtained as individual diastereomers. ► Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes of the ligands with six-membered metallacycles were obtained. ► Spectral, and X-ray characterization. ► Catalytic activity in Suzuki reaction.
