Vanadium(III) phosphonate cage complexes

The synthesis and structural and magnetic characterisation of three new vanadium(III) phosphonate cage complexes are reported. The exchange interactions vary from −30 to +30 cm−1 and appear to be dependent on the superexchange path between vanadium centers.
