Experimental and theoretical study of the spectroscopic properties and the preparation of 3-benzyl-2H-pyrano[3,2-c]chromene-2,5(6H)-dione

- In this study the compound (3) was synthesized and its spectroscopic characterization was investigated.
- The vibrational frequencies and NMR chemical shifts of (3) have been calculated and compared with the experimental data.
- HOMO, LUMO and UV spectral analysis have been used to elucidate the electronic transitions within the molecule.
