Evidence for scaling behavior of some oceanic characteristics according to surface and space observation data

► We analyze data on ocean surface parameters taken from surface and space observations. ► We search for regional process information in macro-scale data.► Methods of nonparametric statistics are applied for the analysis. ► We find out that interaction of non-uniform fields of wind waves and swell in coastal areas is possible.
