Scaling relationships and concavity of small valley networks on Mars

► Mars valley network and drainage basin scaling is assessed using HRSC DEMs. ► Individual valley profiles can be concave up, concave down, or quasi-linear. ► Measurements suggest valleys on Mars are comparatively immature. ► Precipitation was a likely mechanism for delivering water to these networks.
