Characterization of photosystem II in transgenic tobacco plants with decreased iron superoxide dismutase

► Transgenic tobacco plants with significant decreased FeSOD by RNAi were obtained. ► PSII activity was significantly reduced in transgenic plants. ► FeSOD plays an important role in maintaining PSII function by stabilizing PSII complex.
