It is hoped that the recommendations provided will help researchers and clinicians overcome the methodological challenges of conducting research on pharmacotherapy in older adults, thereby fostering more studies that critically evaluate pharmacotherapy and medication-management services and maximizing treatment outcomes in older adults.
