To optimize follow-up of young patients with breast cancer, a semi-annual clinical examination and annual mammography/ultrasound (US) and breast MR imaging are performed. If imaging abnormalities are detected (BI-RADS category 3, 4 or 5), US-guided, stereotactic directional vacuum-assisted biopsy or MRI-guided biopsy are performed.
