Maladie de Paget du mamelon

Paget's disease of the nipple is a rare affection. It is present in 1 to 4% of breast cancers and corresponds to the infiltration of the nipple epidermis by adenocarcinoma-like cells. Clinically, Paget's disease of the nipple appears as eczema-like eruptions in the nipple and areola. The association of Paget's disease in a homolateral breast cancer is found in 82 to 100% cases. The benefit of imaging, based on echomammography and mammary MRI, is to look for an underlying cancer. Its management, not yet consensual, varies from radical treatment to conservative surgery with radiotherapy. This conservative treatment is conditioned by the mammary cancer that accompanies it. The prognosis of Paget's disease of the nipple is conditioned by the presence of an associated palpable mass and the invasive aspect of the mammary cancer that accompanies it.
