Acromégalie

We report about a patient with a SAOS and an acromegaly. The acromegaly diagnosis was performed after that of SAS because of persisting headaches and physiological modifications. It was then confirmed by IGF-1 and hGH assays. Since the exploration for acromegaly in apneic patients is not systematic, sleep clinicians should keep in mind this rare disease because these two disorders share common cardiovascular complications and because the delays in the diagnosis of this curable disease are still too long.
