Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) have been associated with an increasing risk of traffic accidents. A new French departmental order stipulate that EDS is a medical condition incompatible with driving. Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) is required for evaluation of the treatment of SDE in professional driver. The capacity to drive is subordinate to the results at the MWT.
