Antipsychotic Drug Use Among Nursing Home Residents Taking Rivastigmine

Study results suggest that nursing home residents with Alzheimers disease treated with rivastigmine have a reduced risk of initiating therapy with an antipsychotic drug compared with residents who do not receive cholinesterase inhibitor treatment.
