Approche psychothérapique groupale d'un sujet psychiatrique âgé à travers un groupe Photolangage®

This article focuses on the ability of geriatric institutions to successfully provide psychiatric care for elderly patients. This issue is illustrated with the case study of Tonio, a psychotic patient residing in a gerontology ward during a transitional period before discharge to his home. We have followed his progress within a working group for talking and mediation using the Photolangage® method. We observed how the group's therapeutic process helped him adjust to the institution and thus achieve his own integration.
