Milieu de vie et activation des schémas cognitifs dysfonctionnels au troisième âge : étude comparative réalisée chez 80 sujets âgés

The activation of early maladaptive schemas of emotional deprivation, abandonment, mistrust, exclusion, and emotional overcontrol is higher in individuals living in nursing homes compared to a control group of individuals living in their homes with at least one companion. This schema activation may be related to a lack of emotional and family support in the elderly.
