Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter Placement in Patients with Unsuspected Central Venous Obstruction

PICCs can be safely placed across central venous lesions in patients with asymptomatic central venous stenosis or obstruction. Contralateral placement is favorable in cases of ipsilateral passage failure.
