Gestion du risque radioactif associé au décès d’un patient 12 heures après injection de Quadramet®

RésuméL’institut Bergonié a dû faire face au décès d’un patient traité 12 heures auparavant par Quadramet®. Ce cas inhabituel, et non documenté en France, a contribué à une réflexion pluridisciplinaire sur la prise en charge du corps du défunt irradiant qui souhaitait une incinération. En collaboration avec l’ASN et l’IRSN, des recommandations ont été établies et appliquées.

The Bergonié Institute had faced the death of a patient treated by Quadramet®, one day before. This unusual case was not yet documented in France, that's why, it led to a multidisciplinary reflection on the management of body radiating. In collaboration with the ASN and IRSN, recommendations were developed and put into practice.
