Molecular characterization of Iranian Trichogrammatids (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) and their Wolbachia endosymbiont

► 14 populations of Trichogramma from six provinces of Iran collected and identified using ITS2 gene sequence. ► Wolbachia, endosymbiont of different population of Trichogramma characterized and assigned. ► Different infection rates of Trichogramma by Wolbachia. ► New data for our knowledge about Trichogramma/Wolbachia and first work for Iran.
